it's still a girl!

We had another ultrasound this morning, and both the doctor and technician confirmed that we're indeed having a girl. We weren't worried, but it's nice to have the double-check since she already has a very girly room. They viewed and measured all of her anatomy, including her heart, which they couldn't get a good look at 4 weeks ago. Everything looked perfect and measured exactly in line with my due date. Her heartbeat was strong at 150 bpm, and she weighs 1 pound, 3 ounces, which is average for her developmental age.

We got some better pictures of her face and profile this time, which we'll post tonight. We got to see her yawn (soooo cute!), open and close her mouth to swallow fluid and blow a bubble. She also struck a few dramatic poses for the camera.

I still have an anterior placenta, but I feel her moving around more and more every day. Kevin has actually felt her a few times too. We're getting excited to meet her!
