We've had a busy week, so here's the quick and dirty:
Friday, Kevin's parents came to visit and we went to Outback for dinner then hung out at home for a few hours. Their trip was last-minute, and it was a really nice surprise. Saturday, we went over to Katie's bright and early (6:30!) to have what's becoming our annual yard sale. We had a very successful sale at our house last year, but Katie's entire street was having a sale Saturday, so we held it at her house this year. It was a beautiful day, and we had continuous traffic from about 7:30 to 3:30. We made a decent chunk of change and hauled the rest to Goodwill. That night, Kevin, Keith, Kathy and I went over to Kevin's Aunt Linda, Uncle Greg and Cousin Jon's house for a cookout. We don't see them as often as we should, and it was fun and relaxing to sit outside and catch up with them. They grilled a great meal and have a gorgeous back yard (with a coy pond & fountain--I'm jealous!). Sunday, Katie and I went to Melissa's baby shower. She's due in August and is looking so cute! (We'll post pictures of the weekend to Flicker soon.) Kevin, Keith and Kathy did some shopping, then they headed home and we did some chores, made enchiladas and watched LOST (they're replaying the second season, which we haven't seen--yay!).
This week, Kevin is Mr. Social. He went to a concert with Liz and her friends Sarah last night, he's going to a Red's Game for work tonight and he's attending a happy hour tomorrow night. I've been busy getting ready for our trip to Vegas for the HOW Conference next week. More about that later. Gotta get back to work!
